The Uganda Railway Museum has been Uganda’s newest tourist attraction since it officially opened in March 2022. The Museum was opened by the Uganda Cross Cultural Foundation (CCFU) in collaboration with the Uganda Railway Corporation (URC) and with the support of the European Union and SOGEEASATOM.

Located at Jinja City Station on the Jinja-Iganga Highway, this museum extends the range of Uganda attractions to
local and foreign visitors.
Part of the Museum is specially designed to help young people learn and understand the history of Uganda. The
Uganda Railway Museum offers a variety of programs, including heritage-themed nights,
locomotive and freight car exploration, movie recollections / stories, photographs, guided tours, and access to the cafeteria.
